The black leather trim is immaculate and you can feel
the high grade textures and finish. Even the steering wheel is thick
with leather and makes driving an absolute pleasure.
It has lots of power for over-taking or when you just need to get there
and very low fuel consumption on country roads, even driving fast
(better than 9 litres/100km). Even in traffic you get great mileage with
the smooth power to shuffle lanes if you like the cut and weave.
You
get good elevation on the road for all round visibility too and you'll
feel the style and quality of German engineering.
It is in superb condition and with relatively low miles (107K). Comes
with all the extras such as black leather seats, electric sunroof,
climate control, fog lights, cruise control, Mercedes mag wheels, roof
racks, heated and retracting side mirrors, bluetooth and more. Has been
looked after well and religiously maintained. Comes with log books and
service history. Registered to September 2014 (or will be soon).
I have just updated to a newer model after my lease got paid out so as
much as I love this car, it's time to sell. And to be honest, I went
looking for another 4WD and drove the usual models - Pajero, Prado,
Cruisers, HiLux and more. And you know what? I had to go and upgrade to
another Merc.
This ML will spoil you. It feels light yet solid (the electronic gearbox
saves 150kg in weight). There's little road noise or sound from the
diesel, in fact it doesn't sound like an ordinary diesel because it
isn't ordinary by any means. You know you are safe with airbags all
around and think this isn't for off-road? Sure. You might not take it on
narrow bush tracks with branches that scratch the duco but it handles
the dirt like it was born for off-road. The low range is gutsy and the
down-hill automatic braking is really cool. The beast knows what to do
so you can relax and enjoy the ride. Need to stop the braking? Just
touch the throttle and you have complete control. Nice.
You'll love the turbo cutting in for that boost of power right through
the rev range and if you need more grunt, use the flappy paddles to drop
down two clicks and you'll have it. Awesome.
You get what you pay for in
life and this ML320CDI is something you'll appreciate for years to
come.
